The Travel Brochure and Postcard:
The Travel Brochure project was when we had to pick a country we wanted to study and wanted to know there history. After we picked our country we had to make a brochure that included three popular cities, facts, maps, restaurants, beaches, etc. Then we had to make a postcard about pretending that we spent a day in our country. The country that I picked was Dominican Republic. I picked this country because I just always wanted to study this country, and always wanted to visit it one day.
The Recipe Project:
The recipe project is when we had to make a dish with our group members. Tortilla

1. Como se llama la comida/ la bebida? Tortilla
2. Como es la comida/ la bebida? Europe and Mexico
3. De Donde es la comida/ bebida?
According to mayan legend, the first ever tortilla was made by a peasant for his king in the ancient times. The first tortilla ever discovered was approximately 10,000 BC.
Recipe:
1
Sift the flour, salt & baking powder into a large mixing bowl.
2
Into the dry ingredients cut in the shortening, or add oil if you are using this option, & mix with your fingertips to combine.
3
Add the milk or water, working the liquid into the dough until a sticky ball forms.
4
Wrap in plastic and let rest for at least 30 minutes.
5
Divide the dough into 8-10 balls (for small tortillas) or 6-8 balls for larger ones, cover them again with the damp cloth.
6
Lightly dust a counter or pastry board w/flour & roll out each ball of dough into a circle or oval approximately 1/4" thick. If you want nicely rounded tortillas, trim off any ragged edges & discard. Don't roll the dough out more than once or the tortillas will be tough.
7. Heat a dry griddle or heavy skillet over high heat for 5 minutes. Cook the tortillas 30 seconds on each side or until the dough looks dry & slightly wrinkled & a few brown spots form on both surfaces. Do not overcook or they will be hard. Butter and roll up and wrap in damp tea towel to keep warm as you cook the other tortillas.
8. Serve warm.

Via Venues
The via venues project is when me and my group memebers (Ari, Taylor, Grant, and Ethan) had to make a video about hightechhigh. For the video we had to describe what makes hightechhigh so unique from different schools, and we also talked about how the city of San diego is like. Then we did voiceovers with english subtitles, so that people can understand what we are saying. Then we upload the video to Via venues so that we could be able to communicate with different schools around the world. And see what language they are learning.
Creative Masters
For this project we had to express and talk about our passion. We also had to find a person who relates to our passion, but that is a link to the spanish culture or there nationally is spanish. Then we had to create and design a mind map, that explains who our person is, and how they related to our passion. After that we had to recreate our master work, and do 2-3 page essay about our person and our re expression. For this project my passion was singing, dancing, and acting. But in spanish it's dramatic artes. The person that I choose was Jennifer Lopez because she was a great example of my passion, and I really enjoyed learning her story when I was doing reaserch.
My Re expression for this project was creating a dance with my own choreography, while dancing to Jennifer lopez song "Im Real. This is the link to my video.
